The Boy with Blue Hair
“The Boy With Blue Hair” is a performance for children aged 3-6.5 years old. It tells about the adventures of a little boy who is different from all the other inhabitants of his small town. Although his difference is only found in the fact that he has blue hair in a town where everyone has red hair, this is enough to exclude him from his friends at school and make him feel alone. Atro, the boy, is ashamed of his hair, and the only companion he has is a little doll that he imaginatively brings to life. When this is lost, the timid and shy Atro must face his fears and (search) for it. In a forest where every creature is different his blue hair doesn’t seem like a problem, and as Atro goes deeper into the forest in search of his friend, he creates new unexpected friendships based not on outward appearance but on solidarity and mutual support for a common cause.
